Ellis Family www.ellises.org Photos (taken in 1994) of 1770 Ellis/Perkinson home and Hawtree Creek in Warren County, North Carolina This is just south of the Virginia border, east of Interstate 85. The Old Ellis home was only 500 yards to the Northeast of this house. This was tobacco country. Joshua Ellis married Sally Perkinson and they moved to Davidson County, Tennessee. See charts. The chimney is marked with a remodeling date of 1808.
