Located in the Hollingsworth Cemetery about 7
miles north of Jackson, Alabama in Clarke County.
In 1862 Joseph Thomas Singleton was actually
in Company G of the 32nd Alabama Infantry, CSA.
Headstone is incorrect. Later in 1864 he was
in Company B of the Alabama State Militia.

Francis Napoleon Singleton was the son of Rev.
Joseph T. Singleton. Wife of F.N.S., is Alva Sawyer of Monroe County,
Ala.
They are buried in the Shiloh Primitive Baptist
Church Cemetery just west of Frisco City, Ala in Monroe County.
Shiloh Church was started by a brother of Alva
named Burney, son of Dionysius Sawyer, son of Wiley, son of Elkanah of
SC.
